Hannah grew up between Northern Italy and Austria and is now based in Los Angeles.

She studied visual arts in Germany, where her thesis film Postkids (dir. Julian Pawelzik) won the Michael Ballhaus Award in 2021. Supported with a DAAD scholarship, she finished a second Master’s at the AFI Conservatory in 2023.

Her film Nico (dir. Max Olson) premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and was nominated for the British Short Film Awards. In 2023, her visual essay Im Finstern (dir. Mahyar Mandegar) won the ASC Heritage Award and screened at the Talent Demo Showcase at Camerimage in 2024.

She recently wrapped principal photography on the feature documentary Cattle Kids (dir. Jamie Fehrnstrom), set to premiere in 2026 and produced by Temple Hill Entertainment..
